Meet Our Entertainers Robert Nolan Robert is an outgoing personality who likes to create a fun, energetic party atmosphere. He does that by playing client and guest requests and encouraging crowd participation over the microphone. He says "I like the group participation dances because they give people the opportunity to open up and show their creative side." His experience consists primarily of wedding receptions however, he has also performed for other kinds of events including corporate parties, reunions and school dances, "I enjoy all aspects of my work but my favorite events would have to be weddings and birthday parties." Robert got his start 4 years ago with the help of his friend, Dance Machine DJ Scott Manley. Scott saw in Robert the makings of a great entertainer; a friendly and outgoing personality coupled with a love of music. Scott invited Robert to help him at an event and that's where Robert realized DJing was for him. So he became an apprentice to Scott for several months, accompanying him to events learning all facets of DJing. He began with the basics and gradually worked up to programming music and emceeing wedding receptions. Since then Robert has been performing independently and getting great reviews from clients. He's eager to work closely with clients and is a very conscientious DJ. In addition to an outgoing personality Robert brings a professional sound and lighting system that's powerful enough to rock the party, but discreet enough for background music during dinner and cocktails.
